Many people describe learning to dive as "Getting My PADI". Most divers will still be able to tell you the name of their Open Water Instructor many years into a life of diving. This course will truly open a new world to you. Join the millions of people who have learned to dive this way.
A PADI Open Water qualification is the worlds most popular and recognised scuba qualification.
The minimum age to start this course is 10 years old, and until the age of 14, this would be a junior rating (depth limits apply).
You do not need to have prior experience, but if you would like some then try a Discover Scuba Diving experience first.

PADI Dry Suit Specialty, We only teach our Open Water courses in Dry Suits - This is for your comfort and safety. This gives you year round temperate diving options. This will include an additional pool orientation, your course in open water will be conducted in a dry suit, and after one further dive post qualification as an Open Water Diver, you will acheive the dry suit specialty rating.

PADI Enriched Air Specialty, get PADI's most popular specialty as part of your Open Water Course. The major benefit is to allow you to stay at depths for a longer time - Air Supply permitting.
Want a truly bespoke experience? We can arrange your hotel accommodation for you, this is done at cost plus a £50 admin fee.
All divers today use dive computers and your Open Water course will be taught using these. This is included in the price. We are also happy to help and assist you with any advice that you need to buy your own.

Additional Info
You must be able to swim 200 metres, and tread water / float for 10 minutes. There is also a self declaration medical to complete.
The course is structured into three sections:
Knowledge Development. this can be completed in your own time, using PADI's e-learning suite. It works module by module with your pool dives. You must complete each module before the relevant pool session, and we reserve the right to move you back a class if you havent.
Confined Water Dives to learn and master core scuba skills*see package options below.
Open Water Dives to use your skills and plan an actual dive. We will work with you to acheive mastery, but we will only take you to Open Water when believe that you are ready.On successful completion of this course you will be qualified to dive to 18m in conditions equal to or better than those in which you qualified. Junior divers will be depth limited.
## Up to six hours are offered as pool time, to complete all in water confined skills to a mastery level. This is more time than would be required in most situations. Should more time be needed, a nominal subsequent charge will apply.
